The Carpenter’s Table Restaurant Under New Ownership Feb 2026

First off, I LOVE the name, we walked in and it’s super busy & we were seated immediately ! The buffet is packed with so much delicious food, you don’t know where to start. The fish is amazing, chicken is yummy, and an ample selection of sides. I scooped up the mustard greens , Mac& cheese, eager to get back to table. The salad bar is packed with lots to choose from . If you have room, the dessert bar - yum! This is our new favorite go to for great, food😊.

I always like to try new restaurants when they open. Most are ok and predictable but I have to say that I was very impressed by how much we enjoyed eating here. I was with my 93 yo mom and a good family friend. Mom and I enjoyed the salad bar. Every item on here was fresh and tasty. We had shrimp fried and catfish. Green beans and bake potato. The service was good and the food delicious. 93 yo moms can be very picky about eating but mom ate more than I’ve seen her eat in a long time. I liked the fact that they seem to be starting out carefully and I was told that as they fine tune the business the menus will expand and. Offer more choices. Mrs Nobles (co owner) made the rounds to all and has a bright outlook. Over all job well done.

From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, welcoming, and genuinely friendly ….the kind that makes you feel like you’ve known everyone for years. That Southern hospitality is real. Now let’s talk about the food… WOW. It truly reminded me of home cooking in the best way. Every single thing we tried was delicious. The okra was perfectly cooked (not slimy, just right), the collards were seasoned beautifully, and the green beans tasted like they’d been simmering low and slow all morning. The meatloaf was tender and flavorful….pure comfort food….and the mashed potatoes and gravy were creamy, rich, and exactly what you hope for at a home-style buffet. And the

Home cooked food served by friendly staff in a nice, family atmosphere. Excellent steak and sides along with a well stocked salad bar. We stopped on our way through the area and felt comfortable and welcomed with the mostly local clientele. Owners and servers were very nice. Our server, Brantley, was top notch. We will definitely come back.

We went for the lunchtime buffet. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious, seasoned and cooked just right! The fried okra was especially good...crisp and tasty. Our server was very attentive to our needs, the owner stopped by to see how everything was and we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Can't wait to try the evening service from the menu. Definitely a winner!!
