Penny's Sweet Beans

We live local and have been wanting to stop here for a while. We arrived today around 8:40 am for breakfast. Initial impressions were good, the restaurant looked clean and was decorated very cute. We were sat right away and served our coffee. It was not overly busy and they had 2 waitresses plus the hostess helped with drinks. Once we were seated it went downhill…. The table next to us had 2 late arrivals that arrived after us, that tables order was taken AND served before our order was taken. 30+ min and 2 cups of coffee after being seated, our order was taken. We ordered home hash with scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs. 30+ min later it was served, we could tell the biscuits and gravy had been plated well ahead of everything else because it had the ‘film’

Cozy little spot. The waiters are very attentive. Food was plenty and delish. Loved the ice latte.

Really good food. They were really busy so I will give them a little room but service was a little slow but I went just before 12 on a Tuesday and I heard the waitress say Tuesdays are bad. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I had the Jalapeño popper smash burger and it was the Bomb. The fried cheese was great also.

Great food. We always feel welcome as soon as we walk in the door! The staff knows the menu and daily specials like the back of their hand. They never mind if you ask to change something. Always very accommodating!! During your visit the owner will try to come by your table and say hello. Being new to the area this has become our #1 go to spot!

The breakfast bombs!!! Omg so indulgent and delicious. The hash browns are crispy and seasoned. The bacon is baked. Really a delicious cafe.
