Customer Reviews
The Village in Mount Pleasant has been our favorite restaurant for at least 25 years. When you arrive, you feel like you're in a LOCAL establishment, and the service confirms that feeling. We are vegetarian and never have an issue finding meat-free meals, and if we're not doing their wonderful pizzas, we go for the gnocchi or pasta dishes with marinara. YUM!! Drink and food prices are very reasonable, and the staff is mostly local family and friends. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I eat here every Friday and it never disappoints. The pizza is hands down the best in the area—fresh, flavorful, and consistently amazing. I always sit at the bar and the bartenders are quick, attentive, and great to talk to. It’s a welcoming spot with good vibes and great people. Easily my favorite place to grab a pizza and unwind at the end of the week.
I've been eating here for about 5 years and the pizza is always good, however lately they've really been messing it up. I have a gluten allergy and I'm lactose intolerant so I asked for them to put light cheese on my pizza and they NEVER do. So that should have been my first red flag. They've been messing up me and my fathers orders a lot. So last time I went they cross contaminated my pizza with gluten, right after I ate it I got the worst stomach pains. I was in severe pain for days and went to get bloodwork to check and yep, that's what it was. I completely understand that there is always a risk but this was definitely pure irresponsibly. I talked to the owner and they said it was safe for people who have Celiac and that they take it very seriously. Great pizza if you don't have any all
The restaurant was clean, The waitress is very nice however she did not come back and ask for refills. Not a problem, however I ordered the chicken Parm with Alfredo. I was very disappointed. Frozen chicken patties with slices of super market cheese and jar Alfredo sauce nothing fresh or homemade about it. We waited a while, so just had it packed up to go.
Excellent pizza! Highly recommend the veggie with white sauce!
