This beautifully restored storefront will have your heart from the moment you enter. I loved all of the exposed brick so much, the attention to detail is very apparent. Giant fresh loaves line the natural wood shelves, and smiling faces are there to greet you. It's so clean and inviting. The best part is that this is some of the best sourdough I've had. Clean and quality ingredients make it shine. I paid $25 for two loaves, but even for my family of 6 I should have stuck with one loaf, so there is so much value there. The size of these are much bigger than anything I've grabbed locally otherwise.

Wandering in on a random Sunday proved to be such a lovely experience and I can’t wait to return. Michael has done Mt. Pleasant a solid by first renovating a dilapidated brick building and then baking some of the most delicious bread on the market. I also hear tale that he creates some seriously delicious chocolate chip cookies but these seem to disappear so fast I didn’t get to see one yet! I’ll definitely be back to stock up, however. Michael is such a friendly and enthusiastic entrepreneur that you can’t help but grow excited with him as he talks about his interests and plans for future carbohydrate masterpieces. Outstanding. So glad to have this gem in town. We will be repeat customers. Country sourdough loaf is considerably larger than my head, lol, and the texture and flavor is so, so good. Incomparable to anything you could buy mass-produced from a store. Got two chocolate chip cookies and they're the best chocolate chip cookies I've had in my entire life, hands down. He uses super high quality ingredients and you can taste it in the results. Never had a cookie quite like it...it's almost like the chocolate is laminated into the dough, I can't image that'd be an easy feat with cookie dough. Can you tell I'm passionate about these cookies? Bread or cookies - you will not be disappointed!

Excellent, fresh, delicious sourdough bread from a new bakery in Mount Pleasant! The loaves are large and some of the best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend

We ordered a loaf of bread to try this past weekend with friends who were visiting -- I didn't realize it was going to be the best sour dough I had ever eaten! And the loaf was HUGE -- 8 of us had avocado toast and there is still a large chunk leftover. HIGHLY recommend.
