The Village Market

Our first time at this deli. Good atmosphere, good food. I thought it was a little pricey. Got a turkey sandwich, not much bigger than a hamburger bun was over $12 with a small bag of plain chips no drink. If it was on a six inch roll it would have been reasonable.

We love eating here when we are at Emerald Isle. Good food, fun atmosphere. I will say, it is not super quick but that is because it it being made fresh for you so just make sure to plan accordingly. Pimento cheese sandwich is wonderful!

(Heard great things, will be down at the end of the month to try first hand. 😎) **Finally made it, it was excellent, locals are nice and the Village was so delicious, a must try! Opened Breakfast and lunch. We only made it to the lunches! Thanks again for tasty foods an pleasant services! Dogs welcomed, bikes welcomed an we rode our electric scooters for lunch 😎

EDIT UPDATE July 2023: I love the added outdoor seating and finally they've put a speaker outside for when your orders ready. They're dog friendly and there's a water bowl outside for your thirsty good girls and boys. When you go in, the menu is on the wall, order, they'll give you drink cups to grab drinks. There's a vending for plastic silverware right by the sodas. If the seating inside is crowded, go out the side door by the sodas machine and find a place to sit - they'll call your order over the loudspeaker! As locals we enjoy the Village Market year round. I came during lunch so it was pretty busy but worth the wait! I was worried that my meal wouldn't be filling but I was definitely wrong - plenty of food and flavorful! I got a wrap and the key lime cheesecake. Both were great purchases (though not as much flavor as I had hoped it would be in the cheesecake but still good!)
