Cap'n Willis Seafood Market

I love this place! We discovered it years ago during one of our vacations to Emerald and now that I have a place down there, it’s a regular stop for me on my grocery runs. Their seafood is fresh and flavorful, the staff is genuinely nice and if you haven’t tried their homemade tartar sauce? You’re missing out! The frozen, breaded clams and calamari are regular purchases for me, especially during the winter months, and I generally bring some back inland with me so there’s always some on hand. If you are in the area, stop by and see them; you won’t be sorry. 😊

Good selection of fresh seafood! Friendly and helpful staff. Alot of option on crab meat, fish or oyster. Prices are a little on the high side but acceptable. They also have a great variety of pre-made meal like crab cakes, cold food or bottled selections of hot sauces. Thank you

We ordered 1/2 bushel of crabs and they didnt have any taste. You must steam crabs with old bay on crabs prior to steaming, add rock salt, also needed some vinegar, we also throw a beer in. Its a Maryland thing. Believe me they TASTE better!!! Steam your own crabs DO NOT LET THEM STEAM them. The crabs could have been good if steamed properly.

We travel to Emerald Isle annually with our whole family. The highlight of our trip is coming and picking out fresh seafood and cooking it together as a family. We’ve gotten shrimp, scallops, tuna steaks and salmon and every bit of it has always been good quality and perfectly fresh. We were running late a few days ago and they even stayed open for us to grab a few things for our annual seafood dinner.
