The View

My family enjoyed our dinner. The food and service was out standing. Everyone loved there food. I had the rainbow trout and it was one of the best tasting fish dishes I have ever tasted. My husband's rib eye steak was cooked perfectly and very juicy. Another family member got the short rib roast, that was very tender and full of flavor. Excellent customer service by the bartender, chef, hostess and waitress. I'd definitely come back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this restaurant to others.

We had dinner and drinks at this restaurant inside the hotel, and the name says it all. The views are absolutely unreal. I tried to capture it in photos, but honestly, unless you are sitting there in person, you just cannot do it justice. It is quiet, calm, and the setting alone makes the experience special. The service was superb from start to finish. For dinner, we were taken care of by Shru, and he was outstanding. Attentive, friendly, and completely on point the entire time. We were greeted promptly, seated without any issues, and everything flowed smoothly. The food was excellent and the drinks were phenomenal. We got lucky and were able to get a reservation for Thanksgiving dinner. We were staying in telluride and rode the gondola up to the restaurant. It was a great evening. Staff was very friendly and helpful and we are thankful they offered to work during the holidays so us tourist could enjoy a meal with our families. Everyone we interacted with were very kind and generous, especially the valet outside who gave us a shuttle ride to the gondola entrance during the cold night after our dinner! The food was tasty although some of the items were colder (buffet style and had been sitting) but given the location (in the mountains) and holiday it’s important to stay positive and overall our experience was wonderful. Would recommend having Thanksgiving dinner here if you’re able to budget it for

The only bar that’s worth going out of your way to visit!! Sebastian and Alfosina at the bar were amazing! Sebastian makes the best old fashion, Alfosina made me the best huckleberry mule ever! The vibes are vibing! Honestly the best experience and drinks in Telluride!

The View has quickly become one of my favorite restaurants in Telluride (and I've been coming for 30 years!). The mountain vistas and view is one of the best in town (only paralleled with Allred's). There is something remarkable cozy about the high ceiling, log cabins and huge crackling fireplace. Wit live music most nights, you can't beat this! Although not directly in the mountain village, you can grab a free 5 minute shuttle from any of the bus stops (call the mountain lodge reception and ask for the shuttle). Or take the free gondola (and enjoy the amazing views along the way!) from mountain village to the village market. Seriously one of our favorite experiences in Telluride!!!
