We had extremely high hopes since this restaurant features a relatively famous chef, Jason Wilson. I’d dined multiple times at his Seattle spot, Crush. The menu looked good and was psyched for an amazing experience despite it being Twisp with limited other options. My wife ordered the burger and asked if she could replace the fries with something else and the server offered a Caesar. I ordered the Halibut and we shared the Jalapeño poppers and snap peas. Everything was good. Not mind blowing but good. Only complaint was when the bill came and the server charged us the $18 for the Caesar. If it wasn’t in exchange for the fries, the server should acknowledge that. Also, took a couple bites of the Caesar and it had a very strange flavor unlike any Caesar I’ve ever had - inedible. Again, g

We were staying at the lodge for an overnight visit prior to hiking a trail in the morning. We had made a reservation anticipating the food to be amazing. I would like to say the salad and the asparagus were on par with what we were expecting. When we got to our entrees is where the lack of flavor and seasoning started. My cod really had no flavor though the plate itself was presented beautifully. My partners dish, the beef, was very hard to chew through and also lacked seasoning. I will say our server Jacob was amazing and recommending a bottle of wine to take back to the room, based on what I liked. He was also very attentive and only stopped by our table when he knew we needed something. Would I try this place again? Yes 100%! I am unsure if this was just an off day for them or not.

Last night, my husband and I had the pleasure of dining at The Veranda, and it was an experience we won't soon forget. Situated on a picturesque ranch, the restaurant offers a stunning view of the Methow Valley that set the perfect backdrop for our evening. Despite the front end of the hotel being short-staffed, our server Drew went above and beyond, juggling multiple roles with grace and ensuring we felt well taken care of throughout the night. Drew’s service was impeccable, a testament to his dedication and professionalism. The Veranda prides itself on using fresh ingredients grown on the ranch, and this commitment to quality was evident in every bite. My husband savored the lamb chop entree, while I indulged in the short rib. Both dishes were prepared to perfection, showcasing the cul

Our dinner was amazing. The ribeye was 10/10. 2 pasta dishes wonderful. The carrots were great. Mousse was perfect.

At the end of a meandering lane, one finds this beautiful spot perched overlooking the valley. On our first visit, after being warmly greeted at the door, we enjoyed happy hour drinks and a stunning sunset view in their cozy living room setting. We saw their delicious HH burger head to another pair of guests and heard them declare it ‘gorgeous’. Last night we returned for dinner and enjoyed one of the most delicious meals I can remember. Highlights were their take on jalepeno poppers: gorgeous, flash fried balls of sophisticated flavor atop a pool of the lightest mole; the prosciutto wrapped pears, plated in a perfectly balanced sauce, and the impeccable elk chops, served medium rare and gorgeously glazed, with rich sides of creamy farro and dollops of lingonberry and finely sliced pear.
