The Upper Crust

The food was really good. The only thing I didn’t like was they didn’t tell me they were putting spices on the egg!!! Nor did they say it in the menu. Was a bit annoying cuz I had to take it off as I can’t handle spicy foods. However I did enjoy it a bit when taking off the spices and the S’mores calzone was the best there!!!!

If you're going for kosher dairy food in Lakewood, this place is probably one of two good places in the area. Difference here is that these guys know dough and pizza, which means their pizzas (and dessert calzones) will be great. We went on a busy weekend and they had both indoor and outdoor seating. Pizzas were great, and some very funky. There's one with onion rings and bbq sauce, another with mini mozzarella sticks (which is basically just cheese on cheese), and more with roasted cauliflower or broccoli under some more cheese. My advice here is really to try and stick with the stuff with tomato sauce. Would be nice if they incorporated arugula or truffle like some of the more modern NYC Italian restaurants do. I’ve eaten here numerous times with my family and have always had a great experience! Very well run restaurant, definitely recommend it.

Service is excellent, food is even better. Their advice on different selections of the menu accommodated the entire family. Oh and the jalapeno pizza was excellent !

A wide selection of delicious food choices. Wonderful service. Definitely worth the trip.
