MAZON

Had a Thursday night dinner. The store had a wonderful glow up and yet prices are still the same. All food was bought to our table (no service charges). Ordered rib eye sandwich (requested bread swapped to a wrap), chicken schwarma rice bowl (great options like pickled lemon, fried eggplant, fried garlic in addition to the usual) and pulled short rib pita. All of it was delicious but the short rib pita was a mouthwatering showstopper. Succulent, soft, tasty meat in a soft and fresh pita. Manager came around asking how food was and I couldn't stop raving :)! Portions were very generous. 2 adults couldn't finish the 3 dishes we got, were thrilled to take home leftovers. Total was $75 I will definitely be back!

Last night , I got to check out the all new Mazon in Lakewood. They are located at the former location of Eat A Pita in town on Clifton between 1st & 2nd. As I walked in to this authentic Israeli experience, I was pleasantly surprised. The space isn’t too big, but has a nice feel to it. You can immediately see the Shawarma rotating on the spit and all the griddles. The food is all prepared by Chef Eli Dancour who has a really unique was of making authentic Israeli food. For example, we had the Beef Aryes. Usually beef aryes are made in a pita bread and either cut into either halves or quarters. Wow I found my new go to store, amazing food for a quarter of the price of any other store, ppl must not know that it exists, most amazing atmosphere, quiet but not ghostly, friendly place, I can see myself gaining a few hundred pounds and spending a few bucks, the french fries and shawarma laffa along with those poppers, something special, try them out, amazing selection of yummy tasty food!

This Asado Sando was something else, sooo good and tasty! Loaded with soft broth flavored meat, juicy grilled onions, the freshest pita, and a bright tehina to top it off. Definitely authentic. Definitely unique.

Wow. The food here was great. The guy behind the counter recommended a rib-eye sandwich on their fresh, house-made bread, and it was really flavorful and filling. Plenty of space to sit, service was quick, and the place looked clean and well kept.
