The Toasted Pickle Rockford

Cool spot with a unique menu focusing on Pickles in many of the menu items. You order using an app and the server brings you your items... then you have the option to re fill your own drinks as well as pack up your takeout. The food was tasty and fresh. I recommend a visit if you come to town.

Love this place. Great freaking food! My favorite is the 'Toasted Cuban'. I get it every time. The atmosphere is fantastic. The Staff are super friendly and professional. The service couldn't be easier and the food is quick. Can't say enough about this place.

My husband and I visited shortly after they opened and were very disappointed with our food then. We thought they needed time to work through the quirks and decided to go back tonight. Honestly, it has gone down hill further. Tonight we watched our waitress from the upper level touch her nose and other parts of her face several times. Without washing her hands she reached into the utensil holder and grab the spoon for our macaroni by the end that we eat off from. Then she proceeded to pick up the bowl that our macaroni was going to be put in and proceeded to the kitchen to get our macaroni. On the way she picked her wedgie. After our food was plated she continued to laugh and joke with another staff member for about 5 minutes before she brought us our food. No one stopped by our table to

Now I know why this little soup, salad and sandwich shop is always busy. Great atmosphere, well staffed, the food is made with love and high quality ingredients. Prices are reasonable, and city parking is easily accessible. I got the sweet potato waffle fries, Michigan cherry salad, omitted cheese due to allergy and topped with the grilled chicken. The best part was the Hot Honey Lemonade. Light on spice, heavy in flavor and freshness!!! 🍋 😋

The Toasted Pickle is a cute, small and delicious restaurant in downtown Rockford. It is self-order and super convenient. The food was outstanding as well as the lemonade and summer themed drinks and cocktails. Perfect for family lunch and dinner. 10/10 definitely recommend.
