Digby's Deli

Went for lunch today and enjoyed the experience. They have a good selection of sandwiches, soup, chips, and beverages. Sandwiches were made quickly and tasted good. Am hoping, over time, they expand the menu a bit to include some other traditional deli items

Everything was so freaking GOOD! Every sandwich order comes as a combo; drink and chips or cookie-- it was nice to get a complete meal without going ala carte like most places do. Our sandwiches were incredible; we both had paninis (7 and 9), perfectly crisp, melty, the flavor combinations were classic and perfectly layered. The chocolate chip cookie was soft and delicious without being too sweet or too doughy. The space itself is very clean, airy, and cozy. There are tables inside and on the patio, some table games available -- we'll have to check them out when we dine in. The two gentlemen behind the counter were friendly and attentive, our order came up quickly-- I hope they stick around.

Digby's is a nice little sandwich shop. It's got a good selection of sandwiches, spanning all types of different deli meat options to choose from. They've got soups that rotate pretty frequently, perfect for the cooler months. The vibe is nice. During warmer day's they've got a nice outside patio with views of the river. On cooler days the inside is a nice spot to eat; music playing but not overly loud, with a welcoming and friendly staff. Walking in you feel welcomed and noticed. Definitely recommend checking it out for someone who's looking for a quality sandwich with great pricing.

Digby’s is a strong addition to downtown Rockford. Right by the river, they offer a small menu that combines the familiar with the clever. My sister, who is rather picky, greatly enjoyed #8, with PB, honey, banana, and bacon! In addition to the sandwiches, they have a couple of soups (we didn’t try them this time), and every sandwich is a combo that comes with a soft drink and a choice of Great Lakes chips or a chocolate chip cookie baked on site. I want to encourage you to try this shop. Yum!

I love this new sandwich shop in downtown Rockford!! Super friendly staff. Fresh, flavorful ingredients. Outside seating next to the river (and cool decor inside). I won't mention the prices specifically, because they said they are "introductory" but I would suggest you try it now before they raise their prices a couple of bucks - the panini combo was a crazy value. It'll still be a great value at a few dollars more!!
