The Thirsty Dragon

We are new to the area and were walking downtown Lake Wales when we came across The Thirsty Dragon. The wait staff was very nice and the atmosphere was very pleasant. The Live music by Reverend Mike was really good. We enjoyed him very much. We will be back.

Always enjoy coming for a visit. I appreciate that this pub has a few non-alcoholic options such as sparkling water. Enjoy getting a quesadilla or other small treat. This is a great place to gather with friends. Has an old European vibe or atmosphere to it. Staff is very friendly.

This is the place we have been waiting for in downtown Lake Wales! They are open in the evening and have a great atmosphere and lots of friendly folks. My husband had great Florida local IPA on tap and I had cider on tap. New friends we met were drinking wine and even a non alcohol Guinness. We went down for just a drink but ended up staying several hours and just visiting with local folks. We will certainly be back as this will probably become our go to spot for an evening drink.

The atmosphere was laid-back with good vibes, and the service stood out. It’s a great local spot to relax, have a few drinks, and feel welcomed. I’d definitely come back and would recommend this place, especially if Bella is working. 🍻🐉

Visited The Thirsty Dragon this afternoon after the Mardi Gras parade in Lake Wales. If you haven’t been there yet - check this place out! Great ambiance, service, small plates and beer/wine/non-alcoholic drinks. There’s something for everyone. The owners made the rounds to welcome all of their guests and our server Bella was amazing!
