The Terrace & their staff was the highlight of our time in Edgartown. We experienced one of the best meals that we have had in a while. The attention to detail and quality of service was second to none. We even came back for a second evening - they remembered us, our lovely conversations from the night before and even our orders (the gnocchi and martinis were so great we repeated the meal two nights in a row). Absolutely loved my experience at The Terrace. I came with 3 girlfriends on a Wednesday night at 6:30. The Charlotte Inn itself is incredibly charming and cozy with dark interiors and an eclectic collection of art and knick-knacks. We checked in at the hostess stand and were taken directly to our table. The dining space definitely evokes the feeling of being on the terrace even though it is enclosed. Do note that the space can be quite warm. Service throughout the evening was efficient and attentive. Cocktails came out quite large and quickly. Oh the Terrace, what a surreal experience. We have been coming here for years but now with Chef Patrice at the helm, the food is superb and exceptional, more so than ever. It's the perfect spot for a romantic date night with a special someone or just with yourself. It's fancy, over the top, decadent, incredible - but they make you feel also right at home, if home was as fancy as the Terrace. I did a chef's tasting with a friend and dear lord, it was amazing! A must when in Edgartown, the space is a photographers dream because the light is just beautiful and you can capture all the dishes in such a spectacular way!
