We drove over from St. Louis to find a golden ticket. This place is so cute!!! The girl behind the counter was super friendly and knowledgeable. There are so many options to choose from. Definitely check them out!

Such a great experience for anyone who loves sweets. My whole family enjoyed it and we all tasted something we have never tried before. My daughter loved the trending candy course. So fun and a great evening of fun!! The tasting courses were so elegant and delightful plus who doesn’t like a little trivia added into the evening!

Had such a fun girls' night out at the Highland Sweet Spot candy tasting! Small bites and tasting menus are totally my thing, so I absolutely loved the concept. You could tell they put a lot of thought into the ambiance - it was charming and carefully selected. I especially appreciated how each group had their own private table; it made the experience feel more personal and relaxed. Even though I had tried some of the candies before, it didn't take away from the enjoyment at all. Everything was super organized, and I really liked the interactive elements, like the quiz and rating system. The information they shared added a nice touch, too. Overall, a sweet and memorable evening, and I hope they offer more of them in the future!

The Sweet Spot in Highland Illinois opened on Black Friday, 2024. If you’re familiar with the store in Hillsboro, it’s got similar products and a similar vibe-everything from bulk candy in fill-your-own bags to international candies and sodas to nostalgia candies to local favorite cheesecakes and caramel apples. A great multigenerational family destination and hard to tell which generation is having a better time.

Help were very friendly & informative. Lots of choices. Great variety! The candy is current & from the past. Nostalgic memories of candies liked by my adult children, the candy from the penny candy stores & movie theaters I purchased as a child in the late 50’s & early 60’s. And who doesn’t like the variety of chocolates, sweets & Harry Potter candy?!
