The Spot

Sunday was a gorgeous day to galavant, and I'm glad I showed up hungry at The Spot. Our server, Sophia, was very welcoming and conscientious. She answered all of our questions and provider detailed description of the specials. The food quality was exceptional and my cocktail, a French 75, was well-prepared. The Happy Hour menu really invokes happiness. Those steak tots are living rent free in my mind: shaved steak & homemade queso with a kick over perfectly crispy, yet soft in the center nongreasy tots- chef's kiss. Sophia suggested the roast beef poboy (I was debating between the meatball sub and the roast beef), which I rarely order because I'm particular about my roast beef. Highly recommend this place. Got the crabmeat grilled cheese, which was one of the specials and it was amazing. Large serving of food. Our waitress was very nice, and was very attentive. Service was great and timely. The atmosphere was really nice. Love the little lamps on the table. And absolutely love that the background music isn't blaring and my friend and I could actually hold a conversation without raising our voices. So many things looked great on the menu. The prices were very reasonable. Will for sure be going back.

2nd time here, great experience both times! I love that they run monthly specials based on a new country each month. Service was fantastic. Brenna was friendly, attentive, and very accommodating.

Absolutely delicious grilled shrimp and cheese (mozzarella and provolone) sandwich topped with tomato and basil and served on garlic-rubbed sourdough bread. My friend had the Cuban sandwich and loved it! The Bloody Mary was perfect too. Great atmosphere and service and very reasonably priced!
