The Cocoa Bean Bakery & Cafe

We met with the owner to taste test cakes and fillings for my daughter's wedding cake and the groom's cake. He was professional, polite, precise, easy going, and knowledgeable. The cakes were so delicious that we also purchased the shower cake from there. Everyone raved about all three cakes. This establishment is a jewel! I wish I had known about it sooner as we would have purchased all our cakes from there! Amazing!

Grabbed a King Cake from here last year and all they had were cinnamon. Wasn’t fond of it, so like most places give them a second try. Grabbed a cream cheese one this year. It’s nothing more than bread with icing on top. I WOULD RECOMMEND the confetti cake cookies. Those were good

These reviews are LOOOONNNG overdue. I purchased 2 birthday cakes from here. One was this past year in June. The other was 3 years ago in July. I am big on cakes and ensuring a cake matches the theme. I've purchased cakes in the past from other bakeries or individuals who bake on the side. A few have left me DISTRAUGHT and in tears because it was not at all what I asked for and the design was just horrible. I'll start with the cake from June 2025. This was the 1st time a cake made me teary eyed in a GOOD way. I was soooooo excited, elated and PLEASED when I laid eyes on my mom's 60th bday cake. In December 2024, my husband and I got married and we ordered our wedding cake and grooms cake from the cocoa bean. Till this day we still have people asking us where we got our wedding cake from and saying it was the best cake they ever had at a wedding. We saved our cake topper in the freezer and this past December celebrated our one year anniversary with our thawed out cake topper. I can’t believe how well it held over the past year. It was just as good as it was on our wedding day!! I would 10 out of 10 recommend the cocoa bean to anybody!

I love the bean but they are very pricey and they will charge you for every little detail. One time I brought a turkey croissant and i asked for extra lettuce and they changed me a $1 extra which is crazy but besides that I love this place.
