The Sierra Sourdough

Pollock Pines has needed this EXACT restaurant for years, now. I've been saying it, since 2010: this town needs a great sandwich shop with soups AND salads! They finally heard my call and have arrived! And the Sierra Sourdough nails it: fresh breads, fresh ingredients, excellent sandwiches (The Italian rocks!), SUPER friendly owners and staff, spotlessly clean. A must try, when here in our little mountain town. Thanks, Sierra, and welcome! We've missed you, all these years. Big Jeff

I've been anxiously waiting for this shop to open ever since the "coming soon" sign went up! We went in today during their soft opening. The people working there were SO friendly and welcoming as soon as we entered. We ordered 4 sandwiches, soup breadbowl (chicken poblano), and all three cookie flavors. Everything was ready within 15 minutes and it was all very delicious and fresh. The bread is amazing. Most of all impressed with how sweet the people were. Will be returning again and again! Welcome to the neighborhood Sierra Sourdough :)

It was very delicious! Great staff and tasty sandwich. I got the make your own sandwich and they are really good about letting you add on whatever you want without charging extra which is so nice!

Fantastic! I devoured my sandwich and ordered more. The inside is very clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and the food is delicious!

So I never write reviews, but I was so disappointed with my order I went when they first opened, and everything was really yummy and great. Today when my family and I order sandwiches. I ordered 2 pastramies because I was really hungry. Asked for extra meat and extra cheese on both 8 in When I got home, they both looked pretty flat. Looking at the sandwich, 1 had 2 1/2 slices of provolone, cheese and the other had one and a 1/2 slices. One sandwich did have quite a bit of meat, but the other did not. And there was only One small slice of meat on 1 side of that sandwich. All of the other meat was all the way on the other side of the sandwich it was just so Weird. I ended up going back and asking them to refund it.Both girls there were really nice and we're happy to do so they didn't have a
