El Dorado County Library | Pollock Pines Branch

I brought my daughter here for the first time this morning. It's a tiny but mighty library, full of a great variety of books and activities for children. The parking lot is ridiculously small, so if you drive anything bigger than a compact car you're going to have one helluva time parking and may end up having to block some cars in. It's so bad in fact that if I knew I could park elsewhere and walk the rest of the way, I absolutely would (I have no idea where, don't know if it's possible to park on the street at all and don't want to risk being towed). Otherwise, I'm really glad we came here. Chris the librarian was so friendly and welcoming! We will definitely be coming back here regularly.

This is a GREAT little library. They have quiet toys in the children's section that my kids beg me to take them back to play with. They don't mind that I bring my 6 kids, and things might get a little busy. :) The library is small but once you are signed up, you can order books from all over the county and have them delivered to their building in a few days. During the summer they have reading programs and guests that do fun songs or bring crazy animals. The librarians are fantastic. They always have a smile and are wonderful about helping you. I am very thankful to this library! The only complaint I have is that it is only open 3 days a week.

So thankful to have such a wonderful Library still up here in this small little town of Pollock Pines I especially love the librarian she is so sweet and in very helpful

I always take books from that library. They even have nintendo switches to pay on saturday!
