The Sandbar Sunset Bar & Grill

I went around 4pm. It was not busy at all. I got to pick where I wanted to sit, so I sat outside on the deck. Service was both speedy and friendly. I ordered a shrimp poboy and french fries with sweet tea. It was probably one of the best I’ve ever had. The shrimp were massive and plentiful. Definitely worth the money, not to mention prices were great. Overall, great experience and would go back.

Best place ever with the most amazing sunsets. Laid back and comfortable environment with wonderful friendly servers/bartenders and live music. Ask for Sierra - she is wonderful! Exactly what we were looking for on our beach trip. I had the catch and cook and my friends had the grouper sandwich and wings. They did a fabulous job on the fish. This is definitely our new favorite go-to spot!

Loved it! Great love music, loud enough to enjoy but still be able to have a conversation. We got the Fried Seafood platter and it was plenty for two people. It comes with two sides. Loved it! We finished up with a delicious key lime pie. It was home made we believe, if not, it tasted like one :) The young girls that seated us and waited on us were so so kind. I'm so glad we came here. We tried the Peg Leg but it was crowded, super loud and didn't have a nice view. Also, the waiting time was over an hour. I'm glad we didn't want to wait and came here. Perfect music, perfect view, great food and excellent service!

The Sandbar Sunset Bar & Grill has that great homey, laid-back coastal feel that makes you want to stay awhile. You can sit inside or out on the deck right over the water, and the sunsets are absolutely beautiful. I caught a live set from The Banana Moon Pies — fun, versatile, and seriously talented. I had a dozen fresh raw oysters that were ice-cold and delicious. Just a fantastic spot to relax and soak in the view.

My last visit to the Sandbar for live music and food was a fabulous time! Gumbo was excellent! Took about 25 pics of the sunset, - such a great view, - all while listening to the music of Harrison Avenue, a band I adore. They are true crowd pleasers who remember my favorites tunes. Bill Skii, my server, gave me that big hearty welcome that makes everyone feel special. The weekend can't come fast enough...but, shoot, sunset comes EVERY night...no better place to bid the day goodbye and welcome in the sweet, cool night.
