The Roost Bar and Grill (MM Hwy)

The Roost is always a good option based on the variety of option you have to choose from. I ordered Steak Tacos but the meat was the same meat from Philly Cheesesteak which I love here. But not what I wanted on my taco. Redo

Ordered the Reuben and I ordered the onion rings as the side and coffee. They don't offer creamer for the coffee and powdered skim milk ( it seemed) in its place. I chose to drink it black. Five onion rings were the up sale for an extra cost of 1.50 because I didn't get the fries. No flavor even with added salt. The Sandwich didn't have any memorable Swiss cheese or saurkraut and the 1,000 island came on the side. You can get more meat for 5.00 at Walmart (ew) and make your own. This is a one and done kind of place.

Nice modern pub restaurant for the new location in my hometown Republic. The perfect spot for my birthday dinner even though I no longer live here. I enjoyed TWO appetizers, tortilla chips with queso and loaded fries. They were both delicious contemporary American pub grub.

We had a large group, 40+ people on a Monday night. Of course, we called ahead and the manager also gave me a courtesy call day of the event to check the numbers. Party had grown slightly, he wasn't worried, he had 2-3 extra servers ready. It was phenomenal service for a group who constantly has moving people who never settle in one spot. Food was great, side room at the Republic location is good sized for large parties. Can't say enough good things. Checking in day of was super professional, we will be back. Go Team MOHR!!!

I arrived late for lunch (for me). The place was busy and the sign said “Please Seat Yourself”. About the only place I could find was a six top close to the door. It took a while for someone to take my drink order, but again, they were slammed. I ordered wings and an IPA. I was impressed how everyone worked as a team. My server was busy, but another server filled in and took my order. The wings were delicious, the beer cold, and despite being super busy, they all took care of me. That’s the sign of a well-run restaurant.
