El Charro Authentic Mexican Restaurant

The food burrito Cancun was really good. not the best burrito, I have ever had. However, definitely worth the very reasonable price. Wish there was a little more pineapple in the burrito most of it was on top the burrito. The el churro fajita was great the chicken and shrimp in both meals; where pretty Harte. However the steak strips were a little thin. Still plenty of great food. Very friendly staff, they made sure to check on us several times, and even helped us learn a little Spanish 😂.

Not sure who served and checked us out but she was very nice! She also offered us to try a couple of the other mexican drinks they have available on their menu. The food was so good and very filling, especially for what you pay. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves good food

A fantastic authentic Mexican Restaurant with wonderful staff and excellent food and service. The extra hot salsa is very good as is everything that i have ever ordered there. There is always plenty of seating and the owners are super nice. ¡Fue maravilloso por decir lo menos!!!

Ive given this place several chances over the years. Each time I come in it reeks of chemicals. Whatever cleaning product they use you can taste while eating its so strong. The wait staff is slow and aloof. The food is not authentic, its tex mex. But not good tex mex. The salsa is warm not chilled and the chips are greasy. Go to Don Pedro if you want something local.

This was the second time for me eating at the restaurant. I can not say that I was overly impressed with the first visit but wanted to at least give the restaurant another try. The chips that were served were stale. Even the second basket of chips was stale. The salsa was very mild and very smooth. I asked for a spicier option and they brought what appeared to be a tomatillo sauce which was equally smooth but much spicier. It had good flavor. We ordered a small serving of guacamole which came out in dish used for salsa. While flavorful, it was served smooth. For the price, we would have liked to see just a little bit more guacamole. The tamales were served unwrapped, which can be a nice touch. The dough for the tamales was cooked thoroughly but was very bland compared to other tamales t
