The place is the epitome of "hole in the wall". It is a true gem. We went on a busy Saturday. The food took a few minutes to come out, but that's to be expected. It is made to order, hot, and absolutely homemade, delicious food for the soul. Kudos to the cooks!! The ladies at the front counter were all polite, professional, and accommodating. We will most definitely be going back.

Food is always great!!! Cooked fresh and delicious! Service is good. Not overly friendly but job gets done. Atmosphere is ok. Small dinning area. Music is very loud. I would not recommend sitting in the corners where speakers they are located if you want to talk.

We’re from out of town. Went here on the recommendation of a employee at the driver’s license office. Really glad we did. BBQ was delicious. My wife had the salad and I had a sandwich and fries. Really enjoyed our lunch. Wish we lived closer by would definitely eat here often and try other things on the menu. Love to patronize the local businesses that are part of the community. A month later…… Had the chance to return again. We had cheeseburgers this time. They were really good. Hope we may be in Jacksonville again one day.

I wish I took pics but the food was so good, it was gone before I thought of it. Sweet smokey barbecue smothering a fresh and crisp salad the traditional southern sweet tea and cozy atmosphere make for an exceptional experience! Highly recommended if you are craving an oversized hamburger made with high-quality beef, a veggie plate, or a crunchy salad smothered with the best barbecue! Get it! You won't regret it!

Busy Friday night. Dine in. Food took a little bit because they were very busy…but it was worth the wait because the coleslaw and BBQ sandwich were some of the best I’ve ever had. If you are looking for amazing Alabama BBQ, this is the place.
