Effina's Tuscan Grill

Effina's is the spot for you, if you are craving the taste of Italy. The menu has a good selection of items from pasta, pizza and hand-held's. It all begins with fresh bread and Olive oil with herbs. All the dishes we have tried have been richly delicious.

Food was hot. The "Turtle Cake" is nothing more than a overpriced brownie. It looks nothing like the picture online & taste like it's been in the fridge too long.

This place is a real gem! High quality Italian food that is both delicious and affordable in price. Most places I have been to and reviewed are decent in quality but usually a little high in price. Not this place, the food was actually, in my opinion, a little cheap for the quality and quantity. Our server was exceptional and very attentive with a good smile everytime she came to the table. I would highly recommend to anyone wanting Italian food with a good amount of choices that exceeds expectations. The picture is of the BBQ chicken pizza , mozzarella bread, and some of the best Calamari i have had! Effina's Tuscan Grill is the place to go while in Jacksonville!

We visited Effina's with friends on a Sunday afternoon. It's a great little place in Jacksonville with rustic Italian decore'. The service was good; not very personal but very thorough. I had the Italian Nachos (pictured), as well as the breakfast pizza for my meal. The food was very well prepared; the Italian Nachos were AWESOME. Seriously, I'm getting them again. Waffle cut potatoes with Italian Seasoned Chicken, perfectly cooked. covered with peppers, then cheese. They were so good. My Breakfast Pizza was good, but there wasn't much about it that screamed breakfast. It had a small amount of scrambled eggs, but they really weren't noticeable. Our waitress was terrible can't remember her name..Didnt go over any of the specials. Chaged us for bringing in our own cake for a Birthday..Charged us Gratuity for a Party of 7.She wouldnt stay off her cell phone..Didn't get the order correct because she didn't write it down. Food is just ok for the price. Worst place is Jacksonville. Better places for the Cost!
