The Rivers Family Restaurant

Excellent diner with a wide variety of meals, breakfast to dinners. The garlic cheese curds were to die for tasty! Strawberry lemonade made with real pureed Strawberries. Chicken broccoli Alfredo was delicious served with garlic toast. We took home slices of pie for later, they were a little disappointing as the filling tasted like from a can, but it is a matter of taste. Food served hot & the server was so kind & pleasant. Will definitely be back!

Food and service were outstanding! Nice family oriented restaurant with a varied menu. Dane did a great job taking care of us. Pics show everyone's plate is empty so you know the food was good. Best chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes I've had in a long time.

I don't always read other peoples posts to decide why I do or do not choose a certain restaurant. I sit here and wonder how this restaurant only has three stars. I know they have their bad days I'm sure. This apparently was not one of them! They were not super busy of course, but our service was wonderful, our waitress was delightful, coffee was delicious, & breakfast was hot. Even the waiter who took our dirty dishes away was very friendly. I think you should keep on keeping on because you're doing a great job. ya can't please everybody. I'll be back.

I went for dinner and the servers were awesome! I ordered the bacon cheeseburger egg rolls and the country fried steak dinner. The egg rolls are house made and to die for! Excellent recommendation from my server. However, the country fried steak was a frozen patty and the mashed potatoes and gravy were all instant. The dinner roll that came with it was bone cold. If they went to a more homemade meal then it would probably be way better! I know they have it in them after those egg rolls! I would definitely return though.
