Dairy Freeze

Cute little ice cream stand that my mom has been coming to since she was a kid! But they have way more than ice cream - fried food, hot dogs, burgers, shakes, smoothies, slushes, etc. The girls working were very friendly. We ordered ice cream, onion rings, and mini corn dogs. The onion rings were average, but the corn dogs were delicious! You don't get very many though, so I'd suggest getting more than one order! This is definitely a good stop in the summer time, but they're open all year! Make sure to stop for some soft serve.

Worth the stop as you drive through Montevideo. This charming ice cream shop has a large good menu - all the American classics. We ordered the popcorn chicken as shown and ice cream. The service was fast! We enjoyed our food on the patio and it was fun to see how many locals stopped by, grabbed a cone and we’re on their way.

⭐☆☆☆☆ After spending $70 on food here, I asked for a dish of water for our dog on a hot day. The girl who took my order was kind and accommodating, but another employee quickly stepped in and said they could not give out cups of water for any reason. I even offered to hand back a dirty cup for them to refill with tap water, but she still refused. I ended up buying a bottled water for my dog. The original sweet cashier gave me the bottle and quietly slipped me a Styrofoam cup, apologizing for her coworker’s behavior. One would think that when you’re a paying customer spending a significant amount of money, providing a bit of sink water for a pet wouldn’t be an issue. I’m not sure if this is a management policy or just poor judgment on the part of an employee, but it left a bad taste in m

Overpriced small portions. Paid $10 for a child's small ice cream cone and order of cheese curds with ranch that were not edible and didn't want to stand in line for another 40 minutes to get another order

The food was excellent! I basically got to have the "fair food" that I have been craving and it was actually hot and fresh tasting. Oh, and I got the entire thing for under $10.
