Superb barbecue place with brisket you cut with a fork and melts in your mouth. No teeth needed to eat their meats! Best value meal is served on a trashcan lid and gives you enough meat for two people for the week, a variable bargained at under $120! Highly recommend check them out
Celebrated a birthday here. Service was awesome. Got the fowl farts (deviled eggs) and moose turds (bacon wrapped jalapeno) and trashcan lids. It was a lot of food. Easily fed 4 with one lid. Probably could have fed another 3.
My visit was great. I wanted to go and visit all of the other Idahos best contestants and Im glad I did. The food was great! The atmosphere was really fun here.... it was like being in a giant wood barrel. You could smell the real smoked meats when you walked in. The server was absolutely fun and helpful. She even played a silly cool whip game with us. My favorite part of the meal was our lamb sliders! They are tender, juicy and delicious. My son got a combo plate with 2 sides. Nice big juicy slice of brisket and some ribs. Wife got the same but with chicken not ribs. The smoked apples in icecream was fun too! We really enjoyed our visit and will be back any time we come through! Good luck on next year's Idahos Best, we look forward to competing with you again.
Went for dinner one night while in CDA. The food was delicious, the piglets are some of the best pulled pork I have had in a long time. The smoked salmon plate was a good serving size for the price. The side of mac and cheese on the the other hand is the smallest side serving I have ever seen. It was good mac and cheese I just can’t believe it was $4.50. We originally sat at the bar since most of the tables were full and we did not want to be directly next to another group. But the waitress was something else, making random comments about things around the restaurant and just acting strange. Enough that we moved as soon as a table opened up. Overall I would come back for the food but maybe for takeout.
This is such a gem of a place. My family of 5 got in on a Saturday night without issue. We had pulled pork sandwiches, sliders for the kids and the brisket chili. The food was amazing and was fairly priced. The total bill was $71 which is more than reasonable for a bbq place. I will absolutely be back and can't wait to try something else.
