There’s no parking for casual visitors, but for hikers, the door is always open. Camping is free, and while it can be a little chilly (especially with the first snow settling on the ground), the experience is worth every shiver. When I hiked the AT this year this hostel is one of the best hostel on the trail. The owners are so nice and welcoming! The price to stay and the prices the items needed to resupply are the best on the trail. Thank you for letting my hiking partner and I stay. This is a don’t miss hostel!

This is a quaint Hostel set up by hikers for hikers. Space is limited so reservations are recommended. The owners have over and beyond to make the setup so comfortable. It feels like home.

I absolutely love Robert his wife. They went above and beyond any other hostel that I know of. I entered myself while hiking the AT this year and Robert was kind enough to take me to the medical tent and actually held my hand why they stuck a giant needle in my leg. I stayed with them for about a week. Love the coziness of the place. A. Place that actually feels like home. I will be back to visit and to stay.
