The Red Hen

We had a fantastic family dinner at The Red Hen! The menu is incredibly diverse, and their beer selection is top-notch. I highly recommend the Cubano—it was delicious. My kids were happy with the Mac and cheese and chicken fingers, too. The service was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. We’ll definitely be back.

First timers to this adorable spot after visiting an nearby attraction. The atmosphere was cool, inviting, spacious, and welcoming. The staff was very kind. Although a couple of the items we ordered were no longer available but still on the menu(waitress said it wasn’t updated yet) the items we did order were fresh, aesthetically pleasing and packed with flavor. The flavor combinations are on point. The menu has a crowd pleasing selection. The outdoor seating available makes the entrance more inviting. We will certainly be back! And thanks to Maddie that was our super sweet waitress.

The Red Hen has a casual, rustic atmosphere. Plenty of space and larger tables for bigger groups. The food was good. I got the Nomu Bowl. There were plenty of roasted veggies and the curry was just right. Our server was fast, courteous, and attentive. It was my first visit, but given the opportunity, I would definitely go back.

The Red Hen is a great place for a meal. It’s a large restaurant, with a full bar and delicious food. The drinks were well made and generous. Our waitress was very attentive, the food came out quickly, and as ordered. Large family with kids at a nearby table had a great time and their monster cookie with ice cream looked delicious - we had the bread pudding for dessert, and it was delicious. The restaurant is very manageable and accessible. There are steps leading up to the bar (from the restaurant side), but one could wheel in they the bar’s front door. There are tables outside as well (in front and at the back). Clean, large bathrooms. Street parking was easy, but there’s also a parking lot.

Food is phenomenal, especially the Blk Shp menu. Tapas are perfectly portioned and every bite is divine! Also such an amazing drink selection, especially the craft beers. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a spot in the South Jersey area!
