If you’re looking for a restaurant to host an event, Vesuvio’s is, no doubt, the place to do it. Not only is the food delicious, but the staff is phenomenal to work with. They truly make the entire planning process effortless and stress-free. We just hosted our daughter’s baptism lunch here and I truly cannot say enough amazing things. Gianna and her sister, Gabriella, coordinated everything so beautifully. They decorated the restaurant for me- going above and beyond with every little detail, and were so warm and kind to all of our guests. This is by far the best pizza I have had in New Jersey. Calamari was perfectly cooked and the sauce was out of this world. The BYOB is a lot of fun and the waitress was above and beyond. Price was very reasonable for the quality of food and service.

Vesuvio is a hidden gem located in the heart of Swedesboro. Cozy BYOB vibes with your old school neighborhood Italian entrees. The baked ziti was delicious and the lasagna was amazing. The portions are definitely filling, and quality service to add.

After dropping our daughter off, we were facing a 45-minute drive home and were absolutely starving. Being unfamiliar with the area, we struggled to find a place to eat—until we happened to drive past Vesuvio’s and decided to pull in on a whim. What a blessing that turned out to be. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed by a true family-run business. Their daughter(our waitress )and the rest of the staff immediately made us feel at home. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and genuine in a way you don’t experience very often anymore. The food was exceptional—authentic Italian, fresh, and absolutely delicious. This was our first experience here. We had delivery service. Order was incorrect for both of our meals however food tasted VERY good. Owner was apologetic. It was inconvenient to have to drive there for new food and the dessert that was promised was never given. Food tasted fresh, flavorful, and servings and prices fair. Large selection menu. Definitely recommend. Friendly staff.
