The Red Apple Bakery and Fruit Stand

Had a great experience at this place. The owner is very friendly, and the prices are very affordable. Everything sold here is fresh. Thanks for the juice and pastries. You were right; I had to try all of them. My favorite was the mix very one, and my kids loved those cookies and the donut. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience for my family and me.

So happy we pulled in, the lady gave us a free donut EACH! We tried the peach turnover, absolutely incredible 10/10. The blueberry fritter, 10/10 different to many I’ve tried. MnM cookie 10/10. Everything tastes home made, and made with love. Juice 9/10 sweet but maybe that’s just because I have feasted on all these pastries. Thanks a heap

I’ve been coming here for years and it’s always so good. The pies are excellent, the baked goods never miss, and their cider and jam are favorites. Honestly everything they sell is delicious. The people working here are always warm and lovely too. Such a special spot.

We stopped by in the afternoon and it was PACKED. Came back just before closing and had the place to ourselves-and they still had plenty of options. The gal at the register was friendly and helpful. The apple donut absolutely melted in my mouth with delicious sugary cinnamon apple goodness. A little crumbly- so watch out if you're eating them in the car. Definitely worth the return stop. They also had fresh apples, pies, jams, a wide variety of honey sticks, and stickers!

A visit to the Red Apple is becoming a fall tradition for us. Delicious apple pies, cinnamon apple donuts, apple turnovers (notice a theme here?). A few miles past Murphys CA on State Route 4. They also sell assorted Apple varieties, e.g. honeycrisp, cosmic crisp, figi, etc., grown locally. Popular with families year round.
