The Ranch KC

Yummy, reasonably priced, generous portions of food. Family friendly. My husband got the smoked burger which he really liked and my son loved the chicken strips and fries. The sweet potato fries were my favorite. We all enjoyed the house barbecue sauce. Nice atmosphere with friendly staff.

The food at the Ranch KC is so good! I had the brisket sandwich and it was so good. I would definitely order it again. But everything else my family ordered looked amazing too, from ribs and burgers to salad. The portion sizes were huge and we almost all had leftovers to bring home. The server was quick and efficient and kind. No complaints except that I would love to buy a bottle of their house bbq sauce to bring home and also I want their cornbread recipe, haha.

I love supporting local businesses but if your going to open a BBQ joint in KC, you need to bring it! We ordered the brisket, burnt ends and spare ribs. The ribs lacked flavor, no true smokiness flavor and there was no apparent rub or seasoning on the ribs. Brisket was cut very thin and again lacked that smoky flavor. The meat was underseasoned with no bark or rub to speak of. It was also dry compared to a well prepared brisket. Burnt ends were tender but it's the first time I have had non-seasoned burnt ends with no bark or rub on them...just pieces of meat...so wierd. Atmosphere was very pleasant but also empty...RED FLAG...on a Sunday afternoon Waitress was attentive and cheerful.

First time patron to this establishment and I was very impressed! Quantity and quality of food was above expectations. Would put any of the bigger KC BBQ brands a run for their money. And the service was a 10! Jalen was very attentive and brought a lot of fun to our celebration dinner.

I recommend this place to anyone no matter how far the drive!!! The staff are all very friendly and the food is AMAZING!!!! The beef burnt ends melt in your mouth, the smoked sausage is phenomenal and the brisket is amazing as well! Their smoked baked beans are the best I have ever had. I well definitely keep coming back!!!
