The Quarterdeck Grill

Maybe it was an off day but the food was really just so-so. It wasn't bad by any means but I just can't give it 4 stars. The burger is rather plain and dry, the chicken was dry and the nachos were underwhelming. The pictures are quite deceiving - looks way better than it tasted. However, the cheese curds were great! The scenery and service was also very nice. Bathrooms were a little dirty but nothing that would take away a star.

Took advantage of a winter special. Nice area…but management needs to communicate with employees. I was relaxing in their outdoor hot tub around 7:30. Around 8:00 the lady “managing” the pool area said I needed to get out by 8:00 otherwise she was calling the sheriff since she needed to get home! Crazy. I’ve never been treated like this anywhere. If you want winter business maybe try treating your paying guests like actual guests! Who would treat their paying guests like this?? Unreal….

Best thing about our time was the people we were with and the Christmas light decorations. Food, service, and drinks were nothing special given the prices. Small portions and $16 "Holiday" drinks are put in small plastic cups. Come on! A high end, cool spot on Gull Lake should be better then the corner bar...

The photos and reviews brought us in after a few spots on the lake were closed. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. They didn’t have menus to show us, we waited a long time for our food. In fact, our ranch and blue cheese came out about 10 mins before the wings. Almost ate those for dinner I was so hungry. Once the food arrived it was incredibly sub par. We even overheard servers screaming about how some of the walleye tacos arrived without walleye. YIKES. The photos are deceiving the experience was not great. The only redeeming quality was a nice bartender but she was on the other side helping our bartender figure out what wine they had without menus. Would advise to steer clear.

Wow oh wow! How do I even start a review about this place! Everything about this place is mind-blowing! I absolutely love this place; the view is just breathtaking! It almost feels like something you'd see in a movie. There are plenty of seating arrangements, including a more private area for people who want to sit outside but be close to the bar. The seating arrangements are both indoors and outdoors. Plenty of tables from looking out to the lake, some longer tables for bigger parties, and also some tables closer to the doors leading inside the actual restaurant to the indoor seating. There are lights that are close to the door hanging around the back of the building to have more of a romantic feeling to it, which in my opinion really enhancing the feeling of the atmosphere.
