The Purrfect Bean

The Purrfect Bean is such a great place to relax and get your full fix of cats! The staff is friendly and the coffee is delicious. You can tell everyone involved cares deeply about the cats and kittens, plus having adoptable cats is SUCH a great idea!! The decor is so cute and the whole place is clean and orderly too!! I had a snafu with my reservations and it was handled wonderfully via the website’s email. If you’re looking for a fun coffee date, a potential new family member, or just a place to relax with kitties- this is it!

My favorite spot here in RVA! Where else can you grab a tasty coffee AND snuggle tons of cute kittens? I volunteer through Purring Hearts and absolutely love getting to spend time with the cats. Staff are incredibly kind and the drinks have always been top tier. Can’t recommend it enough!

Love the bean! Delicious drinks, and friendly staff. And the cutest cats! I recommend booking the 10:00 am slot- it’s the first one in the day so the kitties are ready to play and cuddle.

I had the pleasure of visiting here today and absolutely loved the experience from start to finish. It was such a cool, laid back atmosphere and everyone was very welcoming and so nice. The cappuccino was DELICIOUS. I booked a session in the cat lounge and got to hang out with all of the adorable kitties (all of whom are up for adoption). I’ve always wanted to visit a cat cafe and I’m so happy that we now have one right here in Richmond. I can’t wait to come back!

I stopped in as I was waiting for an appointment and so glad I did. The Custer service was refreshing- people who actually seemed delighted to recommend something. The downstairs is very charming and has plenty of space between benches and chairs.
