The Public Library of Brookline -- Brookline Village Library

Great staff. Super helpful. Modern conference rooms and small study rooms available for reservation. Library offers printing services, but not faxing services at this location. Sounds like they have great events too.

My plan was just to go there and take few printouts, but the moment I entered, I was impressed with the overall vibe. Staff was really helpful and I ended up registering, getting my library card and a book. Also, the book which I could not find, the staff assured that it will be ordered and I can get it in one or two weeks. Had a nice experience, and will definitely be a regular visitor here.

Great library and very friendly staff. I’ve been coming here for the past 2 years and the children section is well organized with ample seating spaces.

The best library in the whole Boston metro area (along with the Main Branch at Copley). A grand redbrick palace with everything you could want - space, quiet, new and old architecture, wide selection, rows of computers, leather armchairs, study rooms. Downstairs are the colorful kids/teen rooms, with a cute cafe and great used book offerings. However, it's not part of the Boston system - you'd need a Minuteman card to check out books.

This is the very best library you could ever go to!
