Overall, the experience was good. However, the rice burger did not meet my expectations. The rice buns felt quite hard, and I noticed a slight tangy smell from the rice. I am not sure what it was, but it stood out. I ordered the Bulgogi Steak Rice Burger, and unfortunately the beef was very sticky and hard to chew. What made the visit enjoyable were the fried items. The pancake and popcorn chicken were really good. Since rice burgers are their specialty, I was hoping the rice burger would be better. I have had much better rice burgers at other restaurants, so I hope this is something they can improve in the future.

I was excited to try the Mala Spicy Chicken Katsu Riceburger and Black Milk Tea, but the experience was mixed. The mala sauce was delicious, but the chicken katsu was unfortunately dry and tough. I expected a crispy rice bun, but it was quite chewy, like a dense rice cake. As a petite person, I found the portion quite small and was still hungry afterward. Lastly, the boba was a major letdown; the pearls were hard and had an artificial, plastic-like taste. Great flavors, but the textures and portions missed the mark.

One of the few newer spots in Brookline Village that seems like it's going to be a great lunch option. There are a few bar stools and a counter but more of a grab and go style. We took ours to the picnic tables across the street in front of the library. We ordered -Fruity Oolong Tea with Lychee Jelly -Fruity Lemonade with Mango -Chicken Katsu Burg with Mala Spicy Sauce -Bulgolgi Steak Burg with House Fries The staff was very polite and was able to make recommendations to our taste. The food took about 10 minutes to prepare and tasted fresh. We really enjoyed the seasoning on the house fries and are excited to come back and try the bowl versions as the flavors were great on both burgs.

Recently opened hidden gem in Brookline! The rice burgers are unique, flavorful, and super satisfying—I especially recommend the bulgogi, which was juicy and perfectly marinated. Fries are crisp and addictive, and the burger + fries combo comes in a cute, convenient box. The chicken bowl was fresh and hearty, too. The space is clean and cozy with a handful of bar-style seats, so it feels more like a casual, grab-and-go spot than a sit-down restaurant. Street parking is available nearby, which is convenient in Brookline. I also really appreciated that it’s family-owned—you can feel the pride in the food and the service. They have options that are vegetarian and even keto-friendly, so there’s something for everyone. Best part? Two adults can eat a full meal here for under $30—rare these

✨Super creative & delicious Asian fusion spot in Brookline!✨ RiceBurg is one of my new favorite restaurants in Brookline. We got a large Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken, Scallion Pancakes, & Chicken Katsu Riceburger. The popcorn chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, and it was a big helping! The scallion pancakes were also crispy in the best way and not oily at all. The chicken in the chicken katsu riceburger was cooked to perfection and came with a spicy sauce (you can choose katsu or spicy sauce) that gave a kick (but not so spicy like you need to drink a glass of milk)! All-in-all, it's worth the money ($30 for 2 people) because you really get a lot of food, and we'll most certainly come back and try other foods! 🍚❤️
