The Perfect Pita

Having lived in multiple areas of the DMV, I’ve watched The Perfect Pita grow from this original store to multiple locations. It warms my heart that this original store went from a one room with a few tall seats to this gorgeous, roomy location. The food is amazing, it’s rich in nutrients, flavors and taste. There are so many different ways you can tailor your pita, and I love it. Their hummus is out of this world, and the service was professional, courteous, and friendly. Rate this visit a 15/10, and would highly recommend any/all of their locations. Enjoy!

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME! The quality and freshness of the pita bread and sandwiches is UNPARALLELED. The atmosphere is casual and unassuming, whether you’re taking to-go on a busy workday, or having a fast casual lunch, you will not be disappointed with Perfect Pita. So impressed by their food. Awesome selection and SO fresh. Go try this local restaurant!

Pita was warm. The flavor combination worked for the chicken hummus pita. The lettuce was wilted as you can see in the photos. The preparation time was fast. Friendly staff. Took a couple of bites and threw the rest in the trash. The lettuce made it unappetizing. Would I go back? No. It’s the simple things that are paramount. They should be ashamed for serving customers rubbish.

Perfect Pita Hummus is our supermarket humus go-to. We were delighted to stumble across what is apparently their factory store, which, when we visited (July, 2024) was somewhere between initial operating capability and full operational capability. Atmosphere: very clean and tidy but not much of a "lived-in" feel. You're not here for the atmosphere though. You're here because the food is excellent . . . a worthy extension of the supermarket-humus reputation. Like any newly-launched food establishment, they were still working out some kinks when we were there but WE WILL BE BACK.

It has been a long time since I last visited this restaurant, and I dropped by today to get some food—what a wonderful surprise! The whole place looks completely renewed with a fresh and stylish renovation. The atmosphere feels cozy and welcoming the moment you walk in. The food is still as delicious as ever, perhaps even better than before. The staff are friendly, attentive, and efficient, which makes the dining experience truly enjoyable. I sincerely recommend this restaurant—it’s definitely worth coming back again and again!
