Pete's Tavern

A local pub through and through, I have passed this place countless times but finally went in for a celebratory dinner with family and friends. Live band was fun. Service was friendly and responsive even though the dining room was packed beyond their expectation for a Saturday night. The rib eye was juicy. Grilled grouper special was delicious. The salmon was a little dry. The burgers were all good.

I was shocked at how much I enjoyed my experience here. After a long day, looking for respite from the busy Saturday restaurant crowds, my friends and I chanced upon this restaurant. It was clean, the staff was personable, and the live music (Route 66 band) was incredible. All the ingredients in the food looked and tasted fresh, and the portions were quite generous. My party really enjoyed the chicken tenders, potato skins, the cheeseburgers, and the cheese steaks. Beer was also served cold and quick. Overall Pete’s tavern was an amazing experience and even though it’s quite out of our way we plan on returning again. Big shoutout to the amazing staff and band there!

Laid back atmosphere on a Thursday night. Good food. Owner, owner’s wife, and owner’s step son were all very nice and welcoming. I was well taken care of, and enjoyed some chill live guitar. I’ll probably avoid on a weekend since it seems like they would get pretty loud pretty quickly with a bigger band, but if that’s your scene then go for it. Very clean. Food was good—I had the had the cheeseburger and onion rings.

Have come here a few times and the food and drinks have been great! I’d recommend coming on Friday and Saturday nights when they have a live band going for a great time in a local spot. I got the pork chops and my girlfriend got the chicken marsala and both were great! I substituted the mashed potatoes for fries on my plate.

Stopped at Pete's Tavern last night in Springfield VA. for some dinner. I had a hamburger that was delicious and my wife ordered the Salmon. She told me it was the best Salmon she has ever tasted. As for me, I can't wait to get back and enjoy another one of those hamburgers.
