The Original Pancake House

If you like sweet treats for breakfast this is the place for you. The pancakes were good. Prepare to wait to be seated, we went on a Tuesday morning and had to wait a bit because this is a small restaurant and it seemed like many people sat and chatted even after they were done with their meal so it takes a while for tables to be available. Prices are standard for the area. Our waiter Mark was fantastic, very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu.

First the bad, it was freezing cold in the tiny booths and tables in the back near the women's room. I got the eggs Michael's, poached eggs on top of sausage on an English muffin, served with potato pancakes. The sausage was particularly great. The poached eggs were nice as well. She got the big apple. It was sweet, but filled with apples and cinnamon.... Really tasty.

Good flavors and portions, just the time for waiting the food it's a little long. If you go in weekends, you have to be patient (;

First time here and we got there an hour and a half before they closed and they did not rush us to finish and get out. There were 7 of us. Our waitress was great, but I can't remember her name🙄. I had the bacon pancakes and they were heavenly. No one was disappointed in their food and service was great. I'll definitely be going back.

Three of the four dishes we tried were great, the fourth not so much - it looked more like a puff pastry than an omelette, and was rejected. Service by JoAnn was very pleasant and prompt. Long line to get in, and noisy inside. So reasonable place, just not spectacular…
