Met girlfriends for cocktails and dinner and, as usual, we ordered way too much and split everything. From the truffle fries to the steak tartare to the main meal every bite was mouthwatering. Service kept up with us bouncing between cocktails and sharing plates, and everything came out perfectly timed. Whether you’re meeting friends or out for date night, this is a must try. I would like to come back and sit outside next time. Reservations are definitely a must. Very easy place to over-order… and totally worth it.

220 Merrill was amazing. My fiancé took me here for my birthday and it was such a great experience. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the whole place feels very fancy and upscale. It is pretty expensive, but you’re definitely paying for the quality — the food was that good. They have mocktails, which I loved, and the food is halal. The meat was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and the cake was sooo good. Overall, it was a special, memorable experience and totally worth it.

Dinner at 220 Merrill turned out to be one of those nights where everything just worked. I ordered the 220 Burger, the Sweet Spicy Calamari, and a Mini Lobster Roll, and every dish was seriously enjoyable. The 220 Burger was juicy and flavorful with the special sauce and melted cheese making it taste more elevated than a typical burger. The Sweet Spicy Calamari had a good crisp and balanced sweet and spicy flavor that kept me reaching for another bite. The Mini Lobster Roll was fresh and buttery, and paired really well with the overall vibe of the place. The atmosphere felt lively and upbeat with a classy, modern setting that makes it fun for dinner with friends or date night. 11/2025 - Drinks – 1/5: Not impressed with the Old Fashioned, and the Secrets cocktail tasted way too sweet and artificial for my liking. I wouldn’t come here just for the drinks. Food – 3/5: The calamari and mac and cheese were pretty good, but the salmon didn’t measure up. On the bright side, portions were big and the food looked great. Atmosphere & Service – 5/5: Loved the chic and welcoming vibe. Staff was super friendly and our food came out fast. Good spot for a quiet dinner if you’re short on options. Heads up: The menu at the restaurant didn’t match what was posted online, and no one told us about happy hour even though we arrived at 5pm.

Overall great experience, all the food was delicious, the crème brûlée cheesecake was the highlight of my evening. Everyone told me to try the calamari and it was so good, definitely lived up to the expectations. I will say the salmon and yukon potatoes were under seasoned, not much flavor to them, the side vegetables were good though. The atmosphere was fun, very refreshing. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable.
