The MOD

As a Pittsboro based Realtor, I visit new places around town all the time and I can say that, without a doubt, The Mod is really great. There is a bigger section with a bar game and a nice selection of liquor, as well as a smaller section that is reserved for more of a family-style restaurant vibe. I ordered the grilled chicken pesto sandwich with pasta salad and it was REALLY good... juicy and flavorful, with friendly staff to accommodate. With indoor and outdoor seating, along with an outdoor fire pit, I definitely recommend trying this place if you're considering it.

Excellent, fresh food in a relaxed atmosphere. Great chicken pesto sandwich, and the side pasta salad was surprisingly tasty - way beyond your average tasteless pasta salad - you could taste each ingredient, very fresh. Highly recommended!

The food here is fantastic. Even a standard Turkey Club was very good and HUGE.. this is how a Turkey Club should look and should be made. We came between the lunch and dinner hour on Sunday and there maybe more people than waitresses - but she work the tables well and we were not in a hurry. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, people watching, and definitely the food. Highly Recommend.

We were out this way on a random Wednesday and my boyfriend said he wanted me to see this great bar, has really good food and a great atmosphere so I was sold. Downtown is a really hip place, you could fall in love here. Walked into this bar and automatically I’m in awe of the fairy lights in the rafters and the whiskey barrel bars. There wood carvings and art, the lights, the music, the food! A lot happening here, a game night and a paint night, the service is excellent and the food was chefs kiss. Literally ordered food in addition to dinner to take home and eat later. Highly recommend!!

We stopped into The Mod on the way back home from Jordan Lake. Husband was interested in the wood fired pizza so this was definitely the place to go. We sat at the bar and ordered drinks and a pizza. It wasn't that busy when we were in there. The bartender was attentive and provided excellent service. The pizza arrived quickly and it was quite delicious! The beer selection they had for the day was nice. My husband liked what he ordered. If we are ever back in Pittsboro, we'll definitely stop back in to The Mod!
