Tikka Masala Indian Grill

Ok I’m a bit of a food expert as I tend to eat a lot of food. We ordered several dishes from Tikka Masala Grill last night and given the history of the previous restaurants (other than the Italian) of this particular location had low expectations. Although the food took longer than expected (we ordered a couple of tandoori items) every dish was outstanding as was their service. Everything from the naan to the butter chicken to tandoori chicken was some of the best I’ve ever had and they are incredibly nice and helpful. I realize this review sounds over the top but try it and see for yourself.

Great food, excellent service. But it was freezing inside the place. Not sure if the heat was broken. We had the chicken tikka and lamb tikka masalas. We had Chicken 65 as an appetizer. The garlic naan was so good. Came out to $60 before tip. I left $20 because everyone was so nice. It just opened up in the old Pizza Hut beside the Auto Zone. Don't have to travel to Raleigh or Burlington for a good Indian place anymore.

We found the food to be delicious and the staff to be friendly. Loved the spicy chili vegetarian momos, the curry Madras, and the gulab. They were incredibly short staffed for a Saturday dinner service (one waiter to serve all of the dining area, take care of the door dash orders, and host the cashier stand) which did impact food times. However, the food was definitely worth the wait. Loved how bright and airy the inside felt as the outside gives a different mental picture. We will be back.
