The Meadows Original Frozen Custard

Obsessed! It’s so good. I love the rotating custard selection, so many great options. I can’t wait to try the Italian ice. If you get a cone, save the wrappers to eventually get a free one! There’s order windows inside and outside. And inside there’s a small selection of little candy and snack items.

I was very disappointed that my $35 cake looks like it was decorated by a toddler. *Update* I've updated my rating because the owner called me personally to apologize and refund me for the cake. While the cake looked ridiculous, it was very classy of the owner to make it right.

I wanted to love this place, but there are a few major issues going on here that have not improved since their opening. 1. Overpriced and small serving sizes. These prices rival major metropolitan areas. 2. My order is wrong most of the time, regardless of the time of day. A vanilla arctic flurry with one topping mixed in isn't a complicated order. 3. Employee attitude. I understand ice cream shops across the nation employ high school kids. That's fine. The issue is the attitude customers receive, when they arrive within the last hour of operation. Typically, the staff is cleaning and ignore the customers waiting to order. It can take 5 minutes in an empty shop for someone to take an order. It's as if they think we'll leave, if they don't take our order. This is very consistent behavior

The Meadows of Happy Valley never disappoints with their amazing frozen custard… aka ice cream with more fat lol… Mr. Carbon will not just eat any ice cream, he is quite the picky boxer boy lol…

I'm so excited I could cry, they have the best ice cream. The staff is great, and they are still learning and it's beautiful.
