The Queen, A Victorian Bed and Breakfast

This was our third overnight stay at the inn. My partner and I use it to break up our long drive from NYC to Ohio. I won't mention the room we are lucky enough to stay in each time as I don't want any of you all to book it. 😂. Nancy is a dream host. Her friendly, kind, warm and charming demeanor is exactly what we need after hours on the road. Her VERY dog friendly attitude is what originally drew us to this B&B. Our dog is starting to feel right at home when we stay there, he sleeps like a baby. I think he sees Nancy as a second Nana. Being a very LGBTQ+ friendly inn in central PA is extremely important to us as well. We certainly have not always had great experiences in that neck of the woods. The FOOD! I am going on I think my 5th year of staying at The Queen and I keep going back. A beautiful Victorian B&B with each room decorated in its own unique way. Attention to detail throughout the house is amazing. Nancy the host will always share her knowledge of the town and local history. She will always point you in the right direction whether it is for eating out, a local attraction, or a must see/do while in the area. Breakfast is never just scrambled eggs and bacon. The creme brulee french toast is outstanding.

We can’t say enough good things about our stay with Nancy and the gang at The Queen. The bed and breakfast is so comfy and warm, it felt like we were home. Nancy was so amazing, full of knowledge and history of the town and their bed-and-breakfast. Each room is unique but all the decor is just perfect. We were warmly greeted by hosts, Nancy and Curtis at The Queen. They assisted us with luggage to our room on the third floor. The Governors Suite provides multiple comforts of home, delightful decor and a quiet environment. The location of The Queen affords an enjoyable walk to local restaurants and shops or a short drive to events. The hosts served a scrumptious breakfast and delightful Christmas tea. Our “girls trip” was truly memorable thanks to The Queen .

We so enjoyed our stay at The Queen! Nancy and her husband were so welcoming, kind and helpful. The room, was gorgeous, clean, and beautifully decorated. And breakfast was phenomenal! We hope to return and visit again. The town has a lot to offer and the historic buildings are lovely. Thank you for everything!
