This place is the first place that made me mad with tacos. This is not a typical sit-down Mexican food type esblishment. The meats were overseasoned and overcooked. The tortillas seemed straight out of a bag. Spent more than $60 for four tacos, a gross cup of dirty rice (as in Cajun style dirty rice, not Spanish rice), and two of the worst "margaritas" I've ever had. Had high hopes for this place, but overall, I wasn't satisfied. If you've never had actual tacos, you may love it; but I personally advise looking elsewhere. This place did have cool merch, but unfortunately, I have no nice things to commend the establishment pertaining to food, service, or atmosphere. This building is pretty much run like a food truck as no one will come to ask you "how are things", "do you need silve
Definitely a disappointment at this location. How can the meat be dry yet pouring out greasy oil at the same time? Nothing had flavor, and I mean nothing. We had chicken tortilla soup that tasted like chunky water at $10 per bowl ( bowl size was big, portion size was not) the pork shoulder tacos were so dry with not one bit of taste, just oil, extra extra oil. I literally had to wrap it in paper towels and wring it out like a wet rag. Absolutely disgusting. We have been to other locations, yet never had a problem. This place, no thanks! Don't waste your money for overpriced oil.
Never been here before but stopped in for a quick lunch and ordered the shrimp tacos. They were delicious. Shrimp were perfectly grilled and the pineapple salsa on top was fresh and flavorful.
Fantastic tacos! The staff is very friendly and helped us with what to do in the area! Not the cheapest around but totally worth the price. Two super stuffed tacos come per order. Try the house made chorizo - it is not very spicy but there are a variety of hot sauces to spice it up! The star was the garlic fries - crispy fresh made fries with an amazing garlic sauce!!!!
I went on day 5 of being opened, so keep that in mind. This location just does not have that something special the other locations have yet. It smells like popcorn, the minute you walk in the door, and the decor is all off; it just feels awkward. As for the food, it was was good, but not great. I think the chefs are still trying to get their feet underneath them. I will definitely be back, as I was very excited to hear of this opening. After a few weeks, they should get their groove back, and I'll update my review accordingly.
