Because Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park allows no outside food, The Lookout Grille, Defiance Dogs, and the Smokehouse is the only options for food. Prices are a bit steep for just an entree and side because drinks are separate. The Cowboy BBQ is good however the BBQ sauce is a little spicy. I usually love spicy food however the BBQ sauce was a little spicy for me. The views are phenomenal looking at Glenwood Springs from the summit of the mountain.
Honestly wouldn't go here except that there are very limited options up at the adventure park. The menu is super limited and doesnt have great variety of options. Very mediocre normal bbq burger and fries which were a good lunch but paying 18 bucks for it was a rip off. Wish they had more of a menu or better prices. The view was amazing, staff was super nice, and there was no wait to sit down no complaints there.
Atmosphere is cool. You can sit up under a covered balcony and have incredible panoramic views of Glenwood Springs Service is incredibly slow. The strong countet staff was not very friendly It’s very pricey. We got a burger, two chicken strip baskets and a Caesar salad, Grand total with 3 soft drinks was $75 Food was decent. For the price and wait time, I’d recommend eating before or after coming to the park
With the views, the fresh air seating and the friendly staff, it’s a must. But eat eary or the tables fill up and people just sit after they are done eating. We ate early (because kids) and there was no line. We ordered a Buffalo Blue Cheese Chicken Sandwich, Pulled Pork, Ceaser Salad, Kids Burger, and Chicken Tenders. Our food came out quickly and was very fresh. We were all happy with our meals and it was enough to fead us all. We had the corner table that over looked the valley and it was amazing. Price was good for an amusement park. It was around $70 for 5 people. Not bad at all!
This is one of the best view for Colorado mountains, especially for the sunny days. It’s crystal clear with snowy mountains. a lot of rides, dining and beautiful space to be.
