I can’t believe something this disgusting at Martha’s Vineyard. We’ve given this place two chances and this was the last time. Hair all in the shower and even on the sheets. The pillows smelled like they had tried to disinfect them with some sort of chemicals. This is just nasty

My husband and I spent a couple of nights here in July. From the moment that we booked we had messages giving tips etc. The inn itself is slightly off the grid, but is easily accessible and when you have worked out the buses they will drop you outside. We were lucky enough to meet the owner who had thoughtfully left the TV on for the USA England match. Not the result we wished but heh. As the buses were on strike while we were there the owner gave us a lift across the island which meant that we were able to learn so much about the island and his life and family. From across the pond we had so much in common in our views and I learnt that his wife had worked in the same field as myself.||The Inn is quaint and very quiet and a great place to start your investigations. It was not full

Our room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious and filling, all the rooms looked great, and the hosts are excellent sources of advice on local sites and history. So we are confirmed and looking forward to another stay over the summer of 2024.

This great little inn is full of character and coziness. The very friendly owner is knowledgeable about the island and can give some great advice. It's in a good location because you are a short walk to VH and you can walk up from the ferry or easily catch the island buses. When here I love to go out to West Chop. I either walk out or ride a bike. It's the quiet part of the island and you get to see some lovely older homes, beaches and sailboats on the water. Staying at the Look Inn is a delight and value for money it's great too. We'll stay there when I next go.

I came here over Memorial Day weekend 2009, just before the high season on MV. I spontaneously decided to make the trip to MV the week before, and after calling several other local B&Bs, decided on this one since there was no minimum stay requirement and the price was (relatively) cheap. It's just off the main street, so it's pretty quiet at night. I love how laid-back the place is -- you just call ahead to reserve the room and let yourself in through the screened-in porch at the back. There are a lot of nice antique touches to the rooms, with original woodwork, floors, and artwork on the walls. It struck me as the type of place where you could spend some time reading, relaxing, or sunning on the lawn between your other island activities.||||The innkeeper may or may not be there when
