We Have Come to Love The Log Cabin !!!!!! The Food is not just Good, it’s amazing!!!! It’s “ Taste like Ya Grandma made it’ Amazing. I have been telling Everyone I know about this awesome Restaurant and we have all discussed how we have discoverer a True Gem. If You haven’t already, Stop By next time You’re in Tarheel, North Carolina. And if You do stop, I’d about Promise that You’ll ask the same Question we did after our first time.; “Have Yall ever been to The Log Cabin Restaurant in Tarheel?”

This little gem has wonderful seafood. Each item on my plate tasted like it was supposed to and not just a big pile of fried stuff that all tasted the same. Nice, plump perfectly cooked oysters, shrimp, fish and clams, they offer all the variety and broiled, boiled or fried or some of each prepared differently on the same plate. Small from the outside but HUGE flavor on the inside. Worth the drive from the cities near by. Oh and dont forget to try the homemade cake for dessert.

The staff is very welcoming, polite and very helpful. The homemade pound cake (which I ate first) is amazing and is a must order. The chicken, rice and fries were all fresh and the sweet tea was delicious. Fantastic establishment. Friendly staff. Delicious food. Great prices. Please do yourself a favor and eat here. Support small business.

My wife & I called in an order To-Go while passing through while travelling to the local Vineyard. This place did not disappoint. It was absolutely delicious! The portions were large & every single thing tasted amazing. Don't sleep on this lil mom & pop restaurant. It's great! Great food, great service! We will definitely be back the next time we come to town!

Easily one of the best meals I've had in a LOOOONG time. I got the beef tips with gravy, mushrooms, onions and peppers with Mac and cheese and green beans. My fiance had the fish and shrimp. Everything was SO fresh delicious! The staff was absolutely wonderful as well. We had a tired, hungry, CRANKY toddler with us and they brought him crayons and stickers to cheer him up. We absolutely will be back.
