Customer Reviews
Great little spot in Brownsburg. I rated a 3 but definitely on close to a 4. Food was good, but the steaks were average. The pork chop however was fantastic and the apps and salads were really good as well. The restaurant was clean with modern decor. No waited to be seated and the service was great even though they were fairly busy. Decent outdoor patio area too. We went in a night where they had live music which was great except it was rather loud even when seated further away from the band. Definitely one of the better choices for restaurants in Brownsburg.
Always seated upon arrival, of course older people time dinner time of 4:00 to 4:30 range. Very friendly staff, always asking if it is the first time with us. I had the catfish filet dinner with potato salad. Great flavor and too much breading.
I’ve been to The Local in Brownsburg a couple of times now. The first time was a good experience—food tasted great and everything came out as expected. This last visit was a little disappointing though. I ordered the same dish I had before, but this time it came out extremely spicy, almost like way too much seasoning had been dumped in by mistake. I normally handle spice just fine, but this was overwhelming and pretty much inedible. I’m hoping it was just an off night
this is a real nice family restaurant. the food was so very good I had the Pineapple pork chop. was so very good loved the pineapple I had already ate it on the photo i took. And my favorite was the sweet mashed potato. was yummy so smooth almost tasted like pumpkin pie mmmmmmm
Been meaning to try this place for a while now. We finally went in on a Saturday night. We were seated pretty quick, and the place was fairly busy. The restaurant has been nicely converted from the previous restaurant to be more elegant. Our waitress, Kaitlyn, came by almost immediately and introduced herself. She was very friendly and answered any questions we had. We ended up ordering the cowboy filet tips w mashed potatoes and broccoli and the bang bang chicken sandwich with fries and a side salad. The filet tips were good but are overpowered with the seasoning and more salty than we prefer. The bang bang chicken sandwich was really good, and the chicken breast itself was a pretty good size. The fries were really good and reminded me of Rallys fries with the seasoning on them. The sala
