Brownsburg Public Library

I went to the library on Saturday, 3/7/26 and was helped by Ann at the front desk. She is so friendly, kind and helpful. She made it such a pleasure to come into the Brownsburg Library. I haven’t had that good of customer service in a long time. I also love Brownsburg Library, because they automatically renew your books for you if there’s not a hold on them. I use the ‘reserve books’ feature also and my book is always ready when they say it is.

We really enjoyed our experience here! Staff were friendly and helpful! It was nice and spacious. Lots of seating areas. Restrooms were clean, and they even have a family restroom . Very accessible, they even offer a wheelchair and 2 walkers to use during your visit. They offer free coffee pods and a machine to use it. Looking forward to going back!

What a marvelous community library! We visited recently when we arrived in Brownsburg early on the day of the total solar eclipse. Happy to discover a comfortable and quiet place we could read and relax. We were so impressed with the library's big variety of activities related to the eclipse that day. Lots of games and activities outside for children; STEM puzzles related to our solar system in a conference room; an inflatable planetarium running shows all day about eclipses; whimsical photos for library patrons to celebrate the event; and free eclipse-viewing glasses! We spoke with several different library employees. Each person was welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable.

This is the best library among libraries in Hendricks county.. newly renovated.. clean.. feel comfortable to read books and study or maybe working with your laptop. Staffs are very helpful and courteous also. Keep it up !

I had the best experience at this branch yesterday! I was having a stressful day trying to get documents printed and Erin changed my whole energy! She was kind, patient and extremely helpful. The best customer service I’ve received in a long time. Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest impact. Erin saved the day! Give her a raise!
